Whilst we manufacture a range of trolley bags in school colours, Spartan do not recommend the use of trolley bags in a school environment. Testing has proven that trolley bags are not effective when used on uneven ground or up and down stairs. Whilst weight is transferred from the back to the floor, the stress of movement is now isolated through one wrist/arm/shoulder. Weight that is distributed evenly over the shoulders with the majority of the load tabled by the pelvic region will produce safe carriage of heavy loads, and is Spartan’s recommended method of transporting school equipment on a daily basis.
