As we pride ourselves on being the best in quality school bag production, we have devised a system of only the best quality materials available for use today. Here is a list of what we use and more importantly why?
Spartan maxi-weave is a specially designed nylon for rigorous everyday school use. It is the most lightweight option and provides total comfort. This is particularly important when taking into consideration back care. Spartan maxi-weave has been put through a series of tests to make sure it will last through the toughest treatment. Our High Elasticity Backing uses a high level of “Virgin” PVC (minimal recycled material meaning less cracking) making it extremely supple whilst also giving it a much longer life.

A lot of the time our school bags are given a lot of punishment by students. As such it is very important to make sure we reinforce the base of our bags with the best possible materials. Spartan 1000 is a double strength nylon that is put through our stringent testing.

How could something so strong be this flexible? Using a high content of “Virgin” plastics our bag piping is made to last. Our piping is put through hours of manual flex tests to test strength meaning that it will not crack. The exposed area of piping on your Spartan School Bag (The Bead) is made with thick walls to withstand everything that the rigours of everyday school life can throw at it.
Spartan uses a “Double Bean” weave polypropylene webbing that is the strongest available. Our webbing is produced to a very specific weight to size ratio (per yard) that guarantees top durability and strength. All of our webbing is pre-shrunk to stop unsightly seam “puckering” as it is exposed to high levels of heat in our screen printing process.

Spartan uses only A grade, top of the range, self repairing zips in our bag production. Our zip coils are “fold” tested to make sure they don’t come apart but if on the rare occasion your Spartan Zip does comes apart, it will repair itself. The tape that connects the zip with the bag is produced in the strongest herringbone weave and attached with 100% polyester three cord thread for long life and durability.. Our zip runner and pullers are all manufactured in Gun metal grey, also for added durability. Our testers run our zips through 5000 strokes to ensure they won’t damage in years of daily use.

All Spartan Bags have high density foam rubber fold down bases and back panels. (Some products vary) This provides excellent sturdiness and stability to the structure of the bag.
“Ergo” is for Ergonomic. Spartan Ergo-foam is soft and comfortable. It is used primarily in our shoulder straps and other areas that require superior padding and comfort.
